Accessibility Statement
We are committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to all users irrespective of device, technology or ability. It has been built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as required by the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites and Apps (GIGW 3.0), so that people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities can use it.
Accessibility features
- Skip to main content – the first link on every page lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass the header and navigation.
- Text size – the A-, A and A+ controls at the top of every page change the text size; browsers' own zoom works up to 200% without loss of content.
- High contrast – a high-contrast view is available from the top of every page.
- Keyboard access – every link, menu, control and form can be operated with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives – images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Structure – pages use proper headings, landmarks, lists and data-table markup so that assistive technologies can navigate them.
- Language – the site is available in English and Hindi, and the language of each page and passage is marked for screen readers.
- Moving content – the banner slideshow and the What's New ticker can be paused, and they stop automatically for users who have asked their device for reduced motion.
- Consistent layout – navigation, search and utilities appear in the same place on every page.

Notices, tenders and publications are provided as PDF files. Each download link shows the format and file size. Where a PDF is a scanned image and cannot be read by a screen reader, the same information may be obtained in an accessible format by writing to the Web Information Manager through the feedback form.
